Active Theatre Journal considers collaborations that suit its focus on amateur theatre-making and remain distinct from editorial coverage. Ask through the Contact page with the proposed format, subject and placement in mind.

Possible collaborations

We consider clearly defined educational collaborations, useful resources for theatre-making readers, and partner placements connected to the publication's subject. Each proposal is reviewed for relevance, clarity and fit. We do not promise acceptance or a particular audience response.

Placement and labelling

Partner material and paid placements are identified clearly where they appear. Labels distinguish them from independent editorial work. A partnership does not determine our coverage, confer editorial approval or guarantee that a product, service or organisation will be recommended.

What to include

Use the Contact page to outline the organisation or project, the proposed collaboration, the material or placement requested and any relevant commercial relationship. Do not send confidential information or assume a proposal has been accepted until terms are agreed.
